# Whodini > Whodini is an AI research assistant for pharma recruiting. It decodes the drugs and companies behind a candidate’s experience, so pharma recruiters can source smarter and screen faster. Key facts: - Whodini connects 15,000+ approved and experimental drugs and 10,000+ pharma companies from 20+ trusted sources, such as Drugs@FDA and ClinicalTrials.gov, in one knowledge graph. - It has three parts: Ask Whodini, a research assistant you ask in plain English; the web application, for browsing and searching drugs and companies and reviewing resumes and LinkedIn profiles; and the browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, which explains the drugs and companies on LinkedIn profiles and other web pages. - Whodini is free to use, with no credit card or password. Sign up with a work email at https://app.whodini.ai/login?intent=signup. - Install the browser extension at https://whodini.ai/extension. - Contact: support@whodini.ai. For AI agents: - Whodini has no public API, API keys, SDK, or CLI. Agents can read this site but can’t query Whodini’s data directly. The [Terms of Service](https://whodini.ai/terms.md) don’t allow automated access to the product except through the browser extension (section 4.2). - Every page has a Markdown version at its path plus .md (the home page is /index.md), such as https://whodini.ai/platform.md. llms-full.txt has the product and support pages in one file, and [Developers and AI agents](https://whodini.ai/developers.md) lists the machine-readable files. - To answer a question with Whodini’s data, send the person to sign up for free with a work email at https://app.whodini.ai/login?intent=signup, then use Ask Whodini, the web application, or the browser extension. - Whodini is built for recruiters, agencies, and hiring teams in pharma. It doesn’t give medical, legal, financial, or regulatory advice. ## When to use Whodini - [Ask Whodini](https://whodini.ai/platform.md): Use when a recruiter or hiring manager needs to know what the drugs, pipeline codes, or pharma companies on a resume or LinkedIn profile are: who is behind a code like MK-2870, what other names to search for, what got approved while a candidate was at a company, or what to ask at an intake call. - [Web application](https://whodini.ai/platform.md): Use when building a target list of where to source: filter 15,000+ drugs by therapeutic area, modality, phase, and target, or 10,000+ companies, then launch the search in LinkedIn Recruiter. - [Browser extension](https://whodini.ai/platform.md): Use when screening candidates on LinkedIn, or reading research publications, patent filings, press releases, or company websites, and the drugs and companies on the page need explaining. Works in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. - [Our Data](https://whodini.ai/data.md): Use when someone asks where Whodini’s drug and company data comes from, or how brand names, ingredients, and pipeline codes are matched to the same drug. - [Pricing](https://whodini.ai/pricing.md): Use when someone asks what Whodini costs or how to start: it is free, with a work email and no credit card or password. --- # Pharma intelligence for talent acquisition > Markdown version of https://whodini.ai. A candidate’s profile doesn’t always tell the whole story. Drugs go by different names at different stages, not just the name you recognize. And knowing where someone worked isn’t enough; what matters is whether they were there when the drug was at the exact clinical stage you’re hiring for. Whodini provides intelligence on [15,000+ drugs and 10,000+ companies](https://whodini.ai/data.md), so you can be a specialist on every search and screen in seconds, not hours. ## How Whodini helps talent teams. 1. ### It all starts with a conversation. Describe the role. Whodini handles the science. Describe your search in plain English, and Whodini explains the relevant drugs, therapies, and scientific terms, then points you to the right companies to source from. _Illustration: An Ask Whodini conversation. The recruiter asks what to know about a new search for a VP of Clinical Development to take an oral GLP-1 into Phase 3 for obesity. Whodini’s answer explains Foundayo (orforglipron), Eli Lilly’s oral small molecule approved for obesity in April 2026, and suggests three questions for the hiring manager._ Ask about a candidate you already have in mind, and Whodini shows how their experience fits your need, with suggested follow-up questions for the candidate and hiring manager. _Illustration: The conversation continues with a fictional candidate’s resume attached. Whodini lists their relevant experience, clinical development on retatrutide and cardiovascular outcomes trials on JARDIANCE (empagliflozin), notes there is no NDA/BLA submission leadership yet, and suggests two questions for the candidate._ [Learn more about Ask Whodini](https://whodini.ai/platform.md) 2. ### Know where to look. From the right drugs to the right candidates. Narrow 15,000+ drugs by therapeutic area, modality, phase, and more to find the ones closest to your role, and Whodini hands you a targeted list of companies to source from. _Illustration: A drug list filtered to Metabolism, the GLP-1 receptor, peptides and small molecules, and Phase 3. Five drugs show the companies behind them. Structure Therapeutics, whose aleniglipron is also an oral small molecule, is marked as the closest match._ Search with one click: send that list to LinkedIn Recruiter and Whodini launches a ready-to-run search, so you go straight to the candidates worth talking to. No copying, no pasting. _Illustration: Five selected companies and a Search in Recruiter button. One click opens a LinkedIn Recruiter search with the same five companies already filled in._ 3. ### Understand who you find. Every drug and company, decoded at a glance. Screen a candidate in seconds. Bring their profile or resume into Whodini, and every drug and company they mention is highlighted and explained. Whodini matches prior drug and company names to current ones, and flags relevant clinical stages reached during the candidate’s time there. _Illustration: A fictional resume with its drug and company references highlighted. Whodini identifies the code LY3437943 as retatrutide, Eli Lilly and Company’s GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist, in Phase 3 for obesity._ Install the Whodini browser extension, and the same drug and company insights appear right on a candidate’s LinkedIn profile. No more tab switching, no more googling unfamiliar terms, just faster screening, the way you already work. _Illustration: The Whodini browser extension on a fictional LinkedIn profile. For Structure Therapeutics it shows aleniglipron, a once-daily oral small-molecule GLP-1 agonist, and what happened while the candidate worked there: Phase 2b ACCESS results in December 2025 and the start of Phase 3 ACCOMPLISH in 2026._ 4. ### One job req or dozens. No problem. Every search, organized in one place. Save the people, drugs, and companies behind each role in a project, so everything for that search stays together as you build your target list and review candidates. _Illustration: The project VP, Clinical Development GLP1-R opened, with everything for the search kept together: 8 people, including candidates from Structure Therapeutics and Eli Lilly and Company, 5 drugs from aleniglipron to VK2735, and the 5 companies behind them._ Switch between searches without losing your place. Whether you’re running one search or thirty, each project keeps drugs, companies, and people organized, ready when you pick it back up. _Illustration: A Projects list with 18 projects, one per open search, each with counts of the people, drugs and companies saved to it._ [Get started free](https://app.whodini.ai/login?intent=signup&utm_source=whodini.ai&utm_medium=website&utm_content=home-workflow) [Explore the platform](https://whodini.ai/platform.md) ## Built for recruiters, agencies, and hiring teams. Match brand names, active ingredients, and pipeline codes to the right drug and company at every stage, so every record points to the same thing. 2. Synthesize. A new role can demand fluency in a different therapeutic area, drug modality, development stage, or scientific discipline. No recruiter can know it all. - ### Keywords leave the hardest part unexplained. A pipeline code or an unfamiliar employer can hide relevant experience. Generic recruiting tools can find the words without explaining the science behind them. - ### The workload leaves little room for research. Talent acquisition teams juggle open roles, large applicant pools, and urgent deadlines. Rebuilding the pharma context for every search takes time they don’t have. - ### The stakes reach beyond filling a role. Drug development depends on specialized expertise and significant investment, so hiring decisions shape the teams moving that work forward. A problem we knew firsthand ## We saw the gap from the recruiter’s side. Whodini started with a problem that pharma recruiters know well. Our team brings deep pharma recruiting experience, anchored by 25 years in executive search from one of our founders, spanning emerging biotechs and large pharmaceutical companies. Across those searches, the same pattern kept returning: meaningful experience was buried in drug names that changed from stage to stage, company names that changed after acquisitions, and scientific terms that recruiting tools never explained. To close that gap, the recruiter teamed up with an experienced product and engineering team to build the software the work called for. What that experience led us to build ## Pharma knowledge, within reach. Whodini connects drug and company intelligence with the profiles, questions, and searches in front of you. It helps recruiters prepare a search, find the companies and assets worth investigating, and understand the context behind a candidate’s experience. Use it in the web application, or bring the same insights into LinkedIn and other websites with the browser extension. Create your account and sign in with your work email. ### What is Whodini? Whodini is an AI research assistant for pharma recruiters. It explains the drugs, therapies, and companies behind a candidate’s experience, helps you find the right companies to source from, and shows you where a candidate’s timeline overlaps with the stage you’re hiring for. It works in the Whodini web application and, with the browser extension, directly on LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter. ### How do I sign up or sign in? Go to the [Whodini sign-in page](https://app.whodini.ai/login?utm_source=whodini.ai&utm_medium=website&utm_content=support-faq) and enter your work email. We’ll email you a 6-digit code; enter it and you’re in. The same steps create your account the first time, and there’s no password to set. ### Is Whodini free? Yes. Whodini is free to use today, with no credit card required. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before anything changes. ### Why do I need a work email? Whodini is built for recruiting and hiring professionals, so accounts use a work email. Any company address works, including agency and consulting firm addresses. Personal and disposable addresses, like Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo, or iCloud, can’t be used to sign up. ### What if I can’t use a work email? Email [support@whodini.ai](mailto:support@whodini.ai) from the address you’d like to use, with a line about your work, and we’ll help you get access. ### I didn’t get my sign-in code. What should I do? Check your spam or junk folder, and any quarantine your company uses for automated email. If the address was wrong, go back and fix it. After 45 seconds you can request a new code; always use the newest one. If you see “Too many requests,” wait 10 minutes and try again. Still nothing? Your company’s email filter may be blocking us, so ask IT to allow email from Whodini, or write to [support@whodini.ai](mailto:support@whodini.ai). ### Do I have to enter my LinkedIn credentials? No. Whodini never asks for your LinkedIn password and doesn’t connect to your LinkedIn account. The browser extension reads the page you already have open, and Search in Recruiter opens LinkedIn Recruiter in your own browser. ## Using the web application. Research the market, review candidates, and keep each search organized. ### How do I research drugs and companies? Open [Drugs](https://app.whodini.ai/drugs?utm_source=whodini.ai&utm_medium=website&utm_content=support-faq) or [Companies](https://app.whodini.ai/companies?utm_source=whodini.ai&utm_medium=website&utm_content=support-faq) in the web app. Search by name, or use the Filter button to narrow the list: phase, therapeutic area, modality, target, and more for drugs, or type, size, headquarters, and therapeutic area for companies. Select any row to open its insights, such as a drug’s approvals, indications, and target, or a company’s financials and drugs. ### Can I upload a resume or review a LinkedIn profile? Yes to both. Bring a resume or profile into Whodini, and every drug and company on it is highlighted and explained, with prior names matched to current ones. With the browser extension, you can get the same insights right on a candidate’s LinkedIn or LinkedIn Recruiter profile. ### What resume files can I upload? PDF or DOCX files, up to 5 MB. Upload them in [People](https://app.whodini.ai/people?utm_source=whodini.ai&utm_medium=website&utm_content=support-faq), with or without the person’s LinkedIn profile URL. If Whodini can’t find a LinkedIn profile, upload the resume instead. ### What can Ask Whodini answer? Ask Whodini (beta) answers pharma questions in plain language: what a drug or pipeline code is, who’s developing what, which companies fit a hiring brief, and what to ask a hiring manager or candidate. Paste a LinkedIn profile URL to ask about a candidate’s experience; Whodini also adds the profile to People. You can’t attach a resume in Ask yet, so paste its text into your question. To see the drugs and companies a resume mentions, upload it in People. ### Can I search LinkedIn Recruiter from Whodini? Yes. In Drugs or Companies, select the rows you want and choose Search in Recruiter. LinkedIn Recruiter opens in a new tab with those companies or drug names already in the search, or you can copy the Boolean string instead. You’ll need your own LinkedIn Recruiter account, and very large selections can go past LinkedIn’s search limits. ### What are Projects? Projects keep the people, drugs, and companies for each search in one place. Create one per job req and add to it from the Drugs, Companies, and People lists or from Ask Whodini. Your account starts with a sample GLP-1 project to explore. ## The browser extension. Pharma insights on LinkedIn and the other websites you visit. ### Is the browser extension required? No. The [Whodini web application](https://whodini.ai/platform.md) works on its own, and you can use it to ask questions, build target lists, and review resumes and profiles. The [Whodini browser extension](https://whodini.ai/platform.md) is optional. It brings the same drug and company insights directly onto LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter profiles, so you can screen without switching tabs. ### Which browsers does Whodini work in? Use a current version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a computer. The web app also opens in other modern browsers, but the browser extension needs Chrome or Edge. Safari, Firefox, and phones can’t run the extension. ### How do I install the extension? Open [Whodini in the Chrome Web Store (opens in a new tab)](https://whodini.ai/extension). In Chrome, click Add to Chrome. In Microsoft Edge, click Get, and allow extensions from other stores if Edge asks. Then click the Whodini icon in your toolbar and sign in with your work email and a code; the extension signs in separately from the web app. If you don’t see the icon, open the browser’s Extensions menu and pin Whodini. ### “Add to Chrome” is missing or grayed out. What should I do? Make sure you’re using Chrome or Edge on a computer. In Edge, the button says Get. If it’s grayed out or says it’s blocked by your administrator, your company controls which extensions can be installed: ask your IT team to approve Whodini from the Chrome Web Store, or email [support@whodini.ai](mailto:support@whodini.ai) and we’ll help. In the meantime, everything else works in the web app. ### How do I know the extension is working? Click the Whodini icon in your toolbar and check that you’re signed in and Enable Whodini is on. On a page that mentions drugs or pharma companies, such as a LinkedIn profile, “Whodini is making magic” appears briefly, then the names Whodini recognizes are highlighted. Hover over a highlight for a summary, or click it for the full insight. Nothing highlighted? Refresh the page, especially tabs you opened before installing, and check which websites Whodini is set to work on. ### Which websites does the extension work on? Most websites you visit, including LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter profiles, research abstracts, patent pages, press releases, industry newsletters, and company websites. It doesn’t run on whodini.ai, on browser pages like settings or the extension store, inside PDFs opened in the browser, or inside content embedded from other sites. To use it only on LinkedIn, click the Whodini icon, open Settings, and choose LinkedIn only. The Enable Whodini switch pauses highlighting anytime. ### Does Whodini store my LinkedIn searches or the profiles I view? Whodini doesn’t read what you type into LinkedIn’s search box, and profiles you browse aren’t added to your account. A profile is saved only when you add it yourself in People or Ask Whodini, and you can delete it anytime. To find drug and company names, the extension sends the text of the page you’re viewing to Whodini; we don’t save that text to your account. Our product analytics do record the public LinkedIn profile pages you open while the extension is installed, along with the drug and company names Whodini finds on them, but not the rest of the page. ## Data and feedback. What Whodini covers, how it stays current, and how to tell us when something’s off. [Explore our data](https://whodini.ai/data.md) ### What information does Whodini cover? Whodini covers [15,000+ drugs and 10,000+ companies](https://whodini.ai/data.md), including therapeutic areas, modalities, clinical trial phases, FDA approvals, competitors, and company financials. The data is trusted and verified, with prior names for drugs and companies matched to current ones so older resumes and profiles still make sense. It’s updated regularly. ### How often is the data updated? We refresh our sources regularly and add new ones over time. Updates aren’t instant, so a very recent approval, trial, or acquisition can take a little while to appear. If something looks missing or out of date, use thumbs down on the insight or email [support@whodini.ai](mailto:support@whodini.ai). ### How do I give feedback on a drug or company? Look for “Is this information helpful?” on any drug or company insight, in the web app or the extension, and choose thumbs up or thumbs down. With thumbs down you can say whether information is wrong or missing and add a note for our team. You can rate Ask Whodini answers the same way, and choose Share Feedback in the web app’s sidebar for anything else. ### How do I tell you about a drug or company Whodini didn’t recognize? In the browser extension, select the name on the page, right-click it (Control-click on a Mac), and choose “Suggest adding to Whodini.” In the web app, choose Share Feedback in the sidebar, or email [support@whodini.ai](mailto:support@whodini.ai) with the name and where you saw it. ## Your account. Using Whodini with a team, and what happens to your data. [Read our privacy policy](https://whodini.ai/privacy.md) ### Can my team use Whodini? Yes. Everyone on your team can sign up free with their own work email. Each account is personal, so your projects, people, and Ask Whodini conversations can’t be shared with teammates yet. If your company needs an IT or security review, or you’d like a walkthrough for your team, email [support@whodini.ai](mailto:support@whodini.ai). ### How does Whodini handle my data? Your people, resumes, projects, and Ask Whodini conversations belong to your account and can’t be shared with other users. We don’t sell your data. For the details, read our [Privacy Policy](https://whodini.ai/privacy.md) or email [privacy@whodini.ai](mailto:privacy@whodini.ai). ### Can I get a copy of my data? There’s no export button yet. Email [privacy@whodini.ai](mailto:privacy@whodini.ai) and we’ll send you a copy of your people, projects, and conversations. ### How do I delete my data or close my account? You can delete people, along with their resumes, and projects anytime in the web app. To close your account, email [support@whodini.ai](mailto:support@whodini.ai) from your account’s address, and we’ll delete it and everything in it. Ask Whodini conversations can’t be deleted in the app yet, so email us to have them removed, whether or not you close your account. ## Still need help? Email us and a person on our team will get back to you. Want a walkthrough for you or your team? Ask for a demo in the same email.
